- Designing and implementing a MVPD-based live ABR video processing environment
- Develop tools to scale deployments of chosen architectures
- Work with various business-critical vendors to drive feature development and bug fixes
- Work with multiple teams to launch new services on the Fubo platform
- Provide Tier 2 support as needed
- Perform routine maintenances as needed, possibly overnight
- Participate in an on-call rotation and act as a subject matter expert for Fubo's internal groups
- Solid experience in various video and audio codecs such as AVC, HEVC, AAC, E-AC3
- Solid experience in multimedia transport protocols including RTP, RTMP, SRT, UDP, Zixi
- Experience in various streaming packaging methods such as HLS and DASH
- Understanding of alternate content workflows in ABR ecosystem (ESAM, ESNI/SCTE-224/SCTE-35, etc)
- Experience in developing automation using languages such as Python, Ruby, GoLang, with ability to adapt to business needs as required
- Familiarity with DRM and content encryption, including 3rd-party integrations
- Familiarity with different CDN vendors and their systems (e.g. Akamai, Level3, Fastly, etc.)
- Familiarity with enterprise MPEG Analysis tools, such as Tektronix, Ineoquest, Elecard, etc
- Familiarity with cloud deployments (Docker, AWS EC2/ECS, Google Cloud Compute/Storage)
- Experience with testing environments, and development of scenarios
